Phillip Schofield has sparked an alternative rumour for Holly Willougby's whereabouts as she missed a second day of This Morning.
The 39-year-old presenter didn't appear on the first episode of the year of the ITV daytime show on Monday and Rochelle Humes has stepped in again on Tuesday.
Phillip addressed Holly's absence straight away on Monday and said: " Holly is spending a couple of extra days with the family."
But appearing today, the cheeky co-host decided to tease viewers with another reason the mum-of-three may be missing from This Morning.
"She's just about to wrap up her filming commitments with the Masked Singer, so she'll be back tomorrow," he joked.
"Badger, who'd have thought."
Singer and presenter Rochelle giggled in response as she said: "You're so naughty".
Later in the show, Phil joked again that Holly, 'the badger' was watching the show at home.
But he then confirmed the real reason why she's away, adding: "She's dealing with her childcare issues at the moment and will be back tomorrow."
ITV's bonkers singing show The Masked Singer has again caught viewers attention as the second series started on Boxing Day.
Twelve new characters were introduced and two celebrities have already been unmasked.
