Phillip Schofield has unveiled quite an unconventional breakfast as he tucked into his eggs and crumpets over the weekend.
Unlike your typical fry up, the 58-year-old This Morning presenter instead appeared to ditch hit egg whites for just a runny yolk on its own covered in pepper.
Sharing his interesting breakfast option on social media, Phillip layered his very toasted crumpets with lots of butter.
He also started off the day with a warm brew in a personalised mug as he awaited a delivery of vegetables.
"Just the yolk on a crumpet. That will have to go!!" he wrote alongside the picture in the Instagram story.
Later in the day, the popular ITV presenter eagerly awaited for a box of oddly-shaped veggies to be delivered to his door from Oddbox, a sustainable grocery service.
Schofe has been very open about his dislike of egg whites throughout his telly career.
In the past he has reaffirmed he's not a fan, causing plenty of controversy among his viewers.
At one time, he even had a heated debate with chef Phil Vickey, causing the telly cook to 'storm out' of kitchen.
In the episode, which aired last year, Phil pulled a face when presented with a Spring Kedgeree - that was filled with eggwhites.
"What's the one thing I don't like? I don't like the white of an egg," he said.
After a few back and forth exchanges with Phillip and co-host Holly Willoughby, the chef threw his arms in the air and jokingly walked off, adding: "I've had enough."
A year earlier, having got quite boozy at the NTAs in 2018, Phillip looked like he was about to throw up when they were served eggs the morning after on air.
"I can’t bare the thought of that, even when I’m alright," he admitted about the egg whites.
