Phillip Schofield shares selfie as he reunites with wife Steph to celebrate daughter's birthday

Phillip Schofield has started his summer holiday off right by spending time with his family.

The This Morning host appeared on his final show alongside Holly Willoughby last Friday as the pair take the next couple of months off before returning in September.

Phillip, 59, shared a beautiful family selfie from what he said was a long weekend celebrating his daughter's birthday.

The TV star beamed for the camera alongside wife Stephanie and their daughters, Molly, 28, and Ruby, 25.

“Amazing long weekend celebrating @mollyschofe's birthday," Phillip wrote to his millions of followers on Instagram.

“Hope you had a wonderful time gorgeous."

He was finally able to meet up with his 84-year-old mum after a year apart due to coronavirus restrictions last month.

Phil shared his excitement over the mother and son reunion on Instagram.

He explained how he was off to pick Pat up from the station before sharing a picture of his mum, who lives in Cornwall, smiling behind her face mask as she walked towards her son with her bags.

"Her Majesty has arrived," he joked before the Oldham-born star then posted a picture of the pair sharing a cuddle while wearing their face masks.

"Mum hug," he wrote with smiling emojis.

Phillip is set to return to This Morning later in the year alongside Holly.

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are currently hosting the show after losing their Friday hosting gig at the start of the year.
