Holly Willoughby was noticeably absent from This Morning on Tuesday as she is suffering from a tummy bug.
As the latest instalment of the ITV show began, Josie Gibson was seen sitting beside Phillip Schofield on the sofa.
Phillip, 59, then revealed that the former Big Brother star had to step in at the very last minute as mum-of-three Holly is unwell.
But the father-of-two was keen to stress that it was just a "tummy bug" and she will hopefully be back on the show with him on Wednesday.
"Hiya, welcome to your Tuesday's This Morning, this is a bit of a first," Phillip began

"So about an hour ago, you were on your way to do our live competitions in Surrey. Turn you round, bring you back here.
"Holly is not here today because she's got a tummy bug, nothing more than that, she's probably back in tomorrow," Phillip added.
Josie, 36, couldn't believe her luck at being asked to co-host the show and gushed about doing so with Phillip.

"I grew up watching you!" Josie said as Phillip grinned beside her.
She also told him that on Monday a previous guest on This Morning predicted that she would be hosting the ITV show with him.
"Margaret is such a character, she's so lovely, so I gave her a call last night and she said, 'Josie, you know I'm quite spiritual, you're going to get a call and you're going to be presenting This Morning'.
"That was last night and this morning I had the phone call!" Josie revealed.

Viewers were certainly impressed with Josie's hosting skills and took to Twitter to comment.
"Josie is a natural presenter - it's about time she got her time in the hotseat!" one person posted.
Another tweeted: "She's only on the last 10 minutes but @Josiestweet #Josie is playing a blinder co hosting #Thismorning @thismorning."
A third viewer added: "Qweeeeeen Princess GIBSON sitting royally looking radiant as ever. So proud you are on the show you make me laugh and smile so much very likeable. This has made my Tuesday #ThisMorning #ITV #JOSIE @thismorning @ITV."
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
