Phillip Schofield says he's 'not going off' as he fumes over ITV This Morning move during latest break

Phillip Schofield was left furious when he made a discovery live on This Morning. The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Thursday (February 9) alongside co-host Holly Willoughby for what will be their last show for more than a week.

The pair are set to head off on their annual half-term break and it has already been confirmed that Josie Gibson and Dermot O'Leary will be taking over from Monday, February 13, until Holly and Phillip return the following Monday, February 20. But during the latest show, Phillip heard some disappointing news.

And disappointing for him - not for viewers. An ad for one of the show's next week revealed that American singer Pink is live in the This Morning studio on Tuesday. As the cameras then returned live to Holly and Phillip, the latter didn't hide how annoyed he was.

"Someone's deeply upset about what just happened," Holly, 41, remarked as Phillip, 60, exclaimed: "No way!" He then said: "I’ve been here for nearly 200 years and she’s the one person I want to meet." "A***," screamed Phillip as a stunned Holly covered her mouth with both hands before saying "Oh," as Phillip complained: "Harsh."

"Come back, pop in, you’re only down the road," Holly tried to tell him but her co-star went on: "I can't believe it, Tuesday and it’s half-term," he said, before taking appearing to take Holly's advice and adding: "I’m not going off, I’m coming in!" Later, after the ad played again following a break, Phillip again complained that he was "annoyed".

Holly again told him to come in but he said he 'couldn't'. Crossing over to the Loose Women who were ready to tease when they had coming up on their latest show, Denise Welch told him he was welcomed on their show anytime, appearing to offer him an excuse to be in the ITV building at the same time as Pink.

But it appears This Morning viewers weren't as sympathetic. @R3TRO8OY tweeted: "Hey Schofe, how about you not take the school holidays off (when your children are adults) and you can meet P!nk can’t you? #ThisMorning." @shirlpuzz echoed: "Phil Schofield moaning that he’s not in next week when P!nk is on the show because it’s half term... You don’t need no half term #ThisMorning."

While @Rise_and_grind7 said: "Why is he acting like he just found out about pink right now..they have been promoting it for days #ThisMorning." And @CKurkova laughed: "Since when has Phil liked Pink? #ThisMorning."
