Phillip Schofield has told how he saved his dad's life by performing CPR after he suffered a heart attack.
The ITV host, 59, made the revelation on This Morning as he discussed the gut-wrenching moment Christian Eriksen collapsed on the football pitch during the first half of Denmark vs Finland.
The footballer had suffered a cardiac arrest and doctors confirmed that he was "gone" for a short period, with CPR saving the sportsman's life.
As medical expert Dr Ellie showed This Morning viewers the correct way to give CPR using a dummy, Philip stressed how important it can be.
The presenter revealed he was rewarded an 'extra 20 years' with his dad after performing the emergency procedure as a young man.

"I brought my dad back doing that and we got 20 extra years with him because of that, so you just never know," the father-of-two revealed.
"If I hadn’t been in that night, then you know, that would have been it," Phillip added as Holly looked on.
He was just 22 when his dad Brian suffered a heart attack but used CPR techniques he had seen on the TV.

Sadly his father passed away in 2008 at the age of 72, but today wasn't the first time he has opened up about it.
Speaking on This Morning back in 2018, Phillip said: "I've done it myself, brought my dad back. He had a heart attack and died in front of us on the carpet.
"I hadn't trained at all, but just what I'd seen on the telly, and it worked," he added.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
