Phillip Schofield has revealed his mum's touching response after he drove to Cornwall and revealed he was gay to her.
The presenter described how his "amazing" family supported him during an and said his mum had been a massive support after he came out yesterday.
During the conversation with Holly Willoughby, he said his mum's reaction to the news was incredibly blasé, Mirror Online reports.
"My mum has been on the phone all morning," he told Holly.
"I went down to see her in Cornwall.
"She said: 'Oh ok, well I don’t care.'"

He laughed as he recalled her simple, loving response to something he had struggled with for decades.
Phil added he had been honest and open with Steph, his wife of 27 years, during the interview.
“I’ve never had any secrets, we’ve never had any secrets," he said.
"It's tough, but this is not something that’s happened quickly, I’ve had to deal with this in my head for quite some time.
“We’ve been honest and open... Steph… I can’t write in any statement what I feel about that woman.
"She’s amazing, she’s incredible. There is no one in my life who would have supported me the way… as a wife, as the way she’s supported me. She’s astonishing, literally astonishing."
Discussing his two daughters, Molly and Ruby, a tearful Phillip said: "They are so amazing in their love and support.
"I sat them down and I told them, and they jumped up and gave me a big hug and then they hugged Steph and they said, ‘It’s OK’.”
“We’ll always be a family. Always, us four, is what we call ourselves. My mum has been on the phone all morning.”
