Phillip Schofield and wife seen for first time on romantic trip to Paris with daughters

Phillip Schofield has treated his wife and daughters to a special trip away as they're seen together as a family for the first time since he came out.

The This Morning star, 57, revealed he is gay live on the show nearly two weeks ago, and since then his wife Stephanie Lowe and their adult daughters Molly and Ruby have been keeping their heads down.

Today they broke cover for the first time since Phil's bombshell to share snaps of their half-term trip to Paris.

The foursome have been spending some quality time together in the French capital, with the silver fox sharing plenty of pictures of their family holiday.

In one, he and Steph - who will be celebrating their 27th anniversary in the spring - grin into the camera as the Eiffel Tower blazes in the sunshine behind them.

The couple, who wear matching sunglasses, look happy and relaxed as the blue sky above them provides some early-year warmth.

In another, Steph and Phil bring their daughters into shot as they all pose together in a magical love-themed forest.

Phil captioned the sweet shot with a row of red love hearts.

Another picture showed the TV star and Steph posing side by side on their hotel balcony.

Phil shared the snap with his online followers and added a touching white love heart.

The family are taking some time away in the wake of brave Phil's emotional coming-out, with which he credited his on-screen partner and best friend Holly Willoughby.

In his tearful appearance, Phil sat on the This Morning sofa and choked back sobs as he thanked his family for supporting him through coming to terms with his sexuality.

"I am very conscious of the hurt and my overriding emotions with my family is obviously going to be guilt because I do feel guilty," he explained to Holly.

"This can't be anything other than a painful process for Steph.

"It wasn't easy but they were… so amazing. The love, the support. I sat them down and I told them and they jumped up and gave me a hug. A big hug, a long hug, and then they hugged Steph.

"And then they said, 'It's OK, it's OK, this is fine, we'll be OK, we'll always be a family. Always.'"
