Phillip Schofield's cheeky swipe at Ofcom as This Morning covers viagra gel and orgasms

Phillip Schofield make a cheeky dig towards Ofcom on Thursday as he and Holly Willoughby hosted the latest edition of This Morning.

The TV duo spoke about viagra gel and orgasms on the ITV show, and Phil was quick to predict that some viewers would be complaining to the broadcasting regulator.

Phil and Holly spoke to Dr Chris Steele about a new viagra gel which claims to work "six times faster" than the typical viagra pill.

As they discussed male and female genitalia, Phillip quipped: "Good morning of com, you’re welcome!" with a cheeky grin on his face.

Later on in the show, the pair interviewed Ky Hoyle who teaches around 500 women a week to orgasm, and has been doing so online recently due to the pandemic.

Following the interview, Phil commented: "There will be people who will complain about the fact that we are doing this segment.

"Once again, we’re always happy to smash down those little taboo walls."

However, some viewers tuning in at home were not happy with the subject matters on Thursday's show.

One woman tweeted: "This was soooooo wrong for today! Shame on this morning. There's a time and a place. This wasn't it! It should be talked about.....

Another viewer posted: "Do we really need this on daytime telly!" while a third added: "What's going on today? Talk of Viagra and now women's sex toys all before 11am #ThisMorning."

A fourth person fumed: "#ThisMorning too much 2day! There's no need for this at all. This is adult talk. Kids, relatives, grandparents are staying at people's homes during these times for support.

However, other fans of the ITV show were happy to see them covering such topics and didn't understand all the fuss.

One person commented: "Oh please. Sex needs discussing. Turn over ffs. Let the grown ups watch. #ThisMorning."

Another added: "Well done @thismorning great that this is being talked about. Sex makes the world go round, why are we embarrassed by it."
