Phillip Schofield reveals he was in an episode of Friends stunning viewers

As the host of This Morning, Dancing on Ice and cropping up in numerous adverts, sometimes it feels as though Phillip Schofield is never off the telly.

But viewers may not know, that Schofield also once appeared on an episode of hit US series Friends.

While the sitcom ended back in 2004, self-confessed mega fan Phillip managed to head along to a filming in its 90s heyday.

It turns out that Phil featured in a hilarious scene with leading stars Jenifer Aniston and Matt Le Blanc way back in series three.

During Monday's This Morning, Phillip made the impressive boast as they discussed the secrets of the show.

"I have actually been on Friends," he said. "I've been in an episode of Friends," he confirmed.

"Do you remember which one it was?" asked co-host Holly Willoughby.

"Yeah, the one where they keep the scary books in the fridge," Phil clarified, referring to The One Where Monica and Richard are just friends in which Rachel and Joey read each other's books.

And for anyone failing to recall seeing the silver fox in the episode, Phil cleared up what really happened during his 'appearance.'

"When I say I was on Friends... my laugh was on Friends," he added.

Phil explained that he was in the audience for a filming and chuckled so loudly he felt sure he'd be able to hear himself when the scenes went to air.

"And you can recognise that laugh!" said Holly as Phil did an impression of his very amused reaction.

Phil told viewers that when Joey says the line: "And how little are these women?" you can hear his laugh over the top.

We're going to have to watch it and find out!
