Phillip Schofield reveals he can be heard laughing in episode of Friends

Phillip Schofield claims he can be heard in the background of an episode of Friends.

The presenter told his This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby that he watched the recording of an episode in 1997 and witnessed a hilarious scene involving Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Joey (Matt Le Blanc).

“I have actually been on Friends,” he said, to which Willoughby replied: “Do you remember which one it was?”

Schofield confirmed it was “the one where they keep the scary books in the fridge”.

The presenter was referring to season three episode 13, which is titled “The One Where Monica and Richard are Just Friends”.

It was here where Schofield clarified he didn’t appear on screen, but his laugh can be heard after Joey utters the line: “And how little are these women?”

When you watch the episode back on Netflix, you can actually hear someone laughing particularly loudly in the background (it arrives around the 05.56 mark)
