Phillip Schofield has rejected Reverend Richard Coles' offer of a date, the vicar has revealed.
Richard, 58, had asked the This Morning host out for dinner or drinks during a live interview on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Morning Live over the weekend.
But he's now revealed that Phil, also 58, turned down his request after getting asked for an update by a fan on Twitter.
"So did you get a date with Phillip?" the fan asked, to which Richard responded: "Not so much."
On Saturday he had been interviewing Phillip, who was promoting his new book Life's What You Make It on the radio show.

"If you're looking for a bit of company Phillip?" Richard said.
"Broadcaster, gay, in his middle years. Drink, dinner?"
Phil responded: "Are you asking me out?"

"I feel like a bit of a gooseberry now," Richard's co-host Shaun Keaveny said.
Richard has been single since the death of his husband David in 2019.
Phil came out as gay in an emotional statement posted to Instagram back in February.

He said: "With the strength and support of my wife and my daughters, I have been coming to terms with the fact that I am gay."
Just moments later he gave an emotional interview about his sexuality to his co-host Holly Willoughby on This Morning.
Phil is still married to his wie Stephanie Lowe with whom he shares daughter Molly, 27, and Ruby, 24.
