Phillip Schofield red-faced as he rips huge hole in 'favourite' jeans

ITV's This Morning co-presenter, Phillip Schofield, just shared an embarrassing moment as he tore his “favourite jeans” when he got out of his car.

ITV viewers are used to seeing Phillip sharing a good laugh and discussing funny stories alongside his co-presenter on The Morning, Holly Willoughby.

It comes therefore as no surprise that the 59-year-old TV personality showed the giant hole he had ripped while apparently sitting in a car.

He shared a picture of his damaged pair of pants on his Insta-story and wrote: “My favourite jeans thank goodness I had a long shirt on when I got out of the car!” with embarrassed emojis.

It goes to show that celebrities really are just normal human beings, at the end of the day.

Since officially coming out as gay on February 2020 on The Morning, Phillip could have not been happier.

The father-of-two has been an avid user of social media and has given multiple insights into his private life to his 3.1 million followers on Instagram.

Phillip’s life has undoubtedly been a joyful one since last year, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, as he has seemingly been taking pleasure in his late 50s, in a £2million central London bachelor pad overviewing The Shard, after leaving his former family home in Oxfordshire.

Philip regular shares stories to his Instagram (ITV)

Now, more ready to enjoy this new chapter of his life than ever, followers and fans can often catch glimpses of Phillip’s off-screen time, as he regularly updates his social media and Instagram stories.

The entertainment star, who has been showing some of his outings - including boozy brunches with friends - is rumoured to be one of the famous contestants competing in the new ITV show, The Masked Dancer.

The Masked Singer's new spin-off show will air on Saturday, May 29.
