Phillip Schofield was seen panicking during Tuesday's This Morning as he led the latest phone in alongside Vanessa Feltz and Holly Willoughby.
The 59-year-old TV star and his co-host Holly had encouraged viewers to call in with any dilemmas they may have when it comes to their ex.
After discussing one man's situation, who was keen to get back with his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa said: "But what about other people’s ex’s who just circle them forever?
"What about Bill Gates who used to have a weekend with his ex once a year and Melinda Gates allowed it?"
"I know, that’s odd," Holly quickly commented as Phillip interjected: "Do we have to say allegedly here?"

Looking confused, Vanessa replied: "I don’t know, I think it was heavily documented."
But clearly panicking, both Holly and Phillip said: "Let’s say allegedly. Let's all say it."
Vanessa then joked: "I tell you I wouldn't let mine do that, no way, allegedly or not!" as Phillip and Holly laughed.
Elsewhere during the phone in, Holly said that she believes friends have "one go" at advising another pal at what to do when it comes to going back to their ex.

"I think you have one go, I do, I think as a friend you have to say something otherwise you're not being a friend in a way," the mum-of-three said.
"But I think you have one go and then if they decide to keep going with it, you have to be there as a friend to pick up the pieces."
"But is it anyone else's business?" Phillip then asked, to which Holly replied: "It isn't anyone else's business but you can't just watch someone walk into a fire."

Bill Gates married Melinda French on the Hawaiian Island of Lanai in January 1994 and it was reported at the time that he was given permission by Melinda to spend limited time his ex-girlfriend, Ann Winblad.
Last week, the couple announced that they had decided to divorce following 27 years of marriage, and 34 years as a couple.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
