Phillip Schofield moves out of his £2m marital home after bravely coming out as gay

Phillip Schofield has moved out of his sprawling marital home and into a London apartment after coming out, according to reports.

The This Morning presenter, 58, who bravely came out on live TV on February 7, is believed to have moved before the coronavirus lockdown and os thought to live in a central London apartment with views of the Shard.

According to The Mail On Sunday Phil posted a Clap For Carers video on March 26 showing the Shard skyscraper in the background - this was during the first week of prescribed lockdown.

A source told the publication: "There has been talk for weeks that Phillip isn't living with Steph any more, that he had moved out for good and had a new home. He has a place in central London.

"It's not as big but it's the beginning of a new life for him. It very much also seems as though their marriage could well be over."

Phillip and co-presenter Holly have been presenting ITV's award winning daytime show during lockdown while practising social distancing.

Ex kids presenter Phillip has praised his wife since coming out and said his marriage was a happy one and he always thought perhaps he was bisexual.

He told The Sun at the time: “You never know what is going on in someone’s head when they you think they are leading the perfect life. And I was. But then it was there.

“I was confused by what it was. I thought maybe I was bisexual.

“But over time I realised and started coming to terms with it, and I realised I had to be honest with myself.”

Phillip has added he is not looking for love right now, and declined to comment on whether he'd had a sexual relationship with a man.

He also revealed he sought therapy and battled suicidal thoughts as he struggled to come to terms with being gay.
