Phillip Schofield kisses a pig on This Morning as Holly Willoughby hides in fear

This Morning host Phillip Schofield locked lips with a giant pig on the show on Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, his co-host Holly Willoughby was practically fleeing in fear from the animal, a Kunekune Pot Bellied pig, hiding behind Phil.

Holly confessed to George the pig's owner Ingrid Tarrant that she was scared of big dogs and anything bigger.

At one point she was racing across the sofa hiding behind him trying to flee, before eventually calming down.

But Phillip was loving bonding with George even getting kisses from him on the floor.

As Ingrid opened up about caring for her pet, Holly had all eyes on him.

George kept wandering around the set, and at times headed towards a terrified Holly.

She'd already swapped places with Schofe on the couch to keep a distance.

But this backfired, when George suddenly made way for that end of the sofa.

A nervous Holly quickly jumped up, feet on the couch, hiding behind a reassuring Phil.

She did confess later on that she was warming to the animal, but not as much as Phillip was.

He got down on the studio floor to join George at one point, attempting to get a kiss.

Ingrid revealed how her beloved animal would give a little kiss to someone if they said "kisses" and leaned in.

Phillip struggled at first with George appearing to reject him, before eventually they shared a little moment.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
