He told The Mirror in October last year that there were no plans for them to divorce.

He said: "We're picking our way through. It's a work in progress.

"I'm still married to Steph. With divorce... we've not discussed that at all."

The couple tied the knot at Ackergill Tower in Scotland on 29 March 1993 after meeting when Stephanie was working as a production assistant on the BBC in the early 90s.

Phillip wrote an autobiography where he was open about coming out and the situation with his family.

He hit out at suggestions that he'd lied to Steph by marrying her as he said: "I didn’t know I was gay when I married Steph. If I had, I wouldn’t have got married."

He added: "When things got really dark, [Steph] reminded me how much they all loved me and that there was nothing that the four of us couldn’t cope with."

It has been reported that Phillip is in no rush to meet someone new and his daughters and Steph are his number one priority.

It was thought that during lockdown Phillip stayed at his family home but now he's believed to have spent £2 million on a large semi-detached house in Chiswick, London.

His new home is close yo ITV's Declan Donnelly as well as close to Ant McPartlin's old house he shared with ex-wife Lisa Armstrong.
