Phillip Schofield hints I'm A Celebrity live trial was fixed

This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield has suggested I'm A Celebrity is fixed.

The ITV reality show's latest trial aired live on Sunday night, following Jacqueline Jossa and Ian Wright's Crevice of Cruelty challenge.

Most of this year's I'm A Celebrity contestants took part in the live trial, downing gross "shakes", hunting for stars and having creepy crawlies dumped on them.

For every star they won, a campmate would get a roast dinner.

After faring well in the early part of the live trial, it was down to Roman and James to win the final stars.

They were tasked with unscrewing stars from a box on one side of the bed and re-screwing it in on the other side, with various unsavoury critters to contend with of course.

But the first box, which contained a large crab, proved too challenging as James was unable to unscrew the star with the animal in the way.

This left Ian, Cliff and Andy without a roast dinner. Viewers vented their anger, saying the last bit of the trial was "impossible."

One hit out: "Last night's trial was impossible for the amount of time they had, I bet the stand-ins who did it didn’t have big hands like James.

"They should be given another chance to earn the stars by giving them longer time, I love the show but last night I felt it was a fix."

During Monday's live This Morning broadcast, Phillip agreed with them, saying: "The last one - it's not possible in 90 seconds."
