Phillip Schofield 'hasn't spoken to Eamonn Holmes since he quit This Morning'

Phillip Schofield hasn't reached out to his former This Morning co-host Eamonn Holmes following his departure from the ITV show are 15-years, it's been claimed.

Back in November, Eamonn, 62, made the decision to call it quits on his time on This Morning as he set his sights on GB News instead.

Following his move to the new role, Eamonn's former This Morning co-star Phillip has reportedly failed to contact him.

Lifting the lid on Phil's radio silence, a source revealed that although the pair "never saw eye to eye", his lack of contact has come as quite a surprise given the fact he and Eamonn worked alongside one another for so many years.

The insider revealed: "It’s been quite publicised that he and Phillip didn’t really see eye to eye.

"Phillip hasn’t contacted Eamonn since leaving This Morning, which is a bit of a shame.

"Eamonn felt like Phillip didn’t really like him," they told OK! Magazine.

The presenters have endured quite a rocky relationship down through the years when it comes to workplace issues.

The pair fell out when Eamonn's wife, Ruth Langsford, reportedly made an official complaint against Phil.

Ruth was rumoured to have been angry with Phil after he cut her off live on air during a preview of Loose Women on This Morning.

There was also rumoured tensions between the couple and Phil at the National Television Awards in 2020.

As Phil, Eamonn, Ruth, and Holly Willoughby took to the stage to accept their gong for Best Daytime TV Show, fans blasted Phil for 'hogging' the microphone and not giving Eamonn or Ruth the opportunity to say a few words of thanks to their loyal viewers.

The interaction fuelled more rumours of an ongoing feud and viewers couldn't help but notice Ruth's 'cold demeanour' as she stood alongside Phillip.

However, it seemed Phil and Eamonn had made up when Phil came out as gay on This Morning in February 2020.

The two men hugged on live on air with Eamonn admitting he was 'proud' of Phillip.

Phil later went on to praise Eamonn in a gushing tweet.

The Mirror has reached out to a This Morning spokesperson for comment on this story.
