This Morning host Phillip Schofield has revealed he and his wife haven't discussed a divorce since he told her he was gay.
The 58-year-old ITV presenter, who is married with two children, came out earlier this year
He and wife Stephanie have been married for 27 years, and have yet to talk about splitting officially, the Mirror reports.
Speaking to Chris Evans' podcast How to Wow he said he had to “reconcile” himself to the pain she had gone through.
Schofield said: “I’m still married to Steph. With divorce… we’ve not discussed that at all.”
He added: “It’s not in my nature to hurt people. How is it possible to come out and not hurt your wife?
"It isn’t. My greatest concern is her.”
After publicly coming out in February, the popular This Morning presenter said that it had been "consuming him for the last few years".
In his statement read out by This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby, he said of Steph: “I love her so much. She’s the kindest soul I’ve ever met.”
Phil, worth £9million, has applied to convert a garage at their home in Henley, Oxon, into a bachelor pad.
In his autobiography, he hit out at suggestions he lied to Steph, saying: “When I eventually knew, so did she.”
