Phillip Schofield has head in hands after making embarrassing Kem Cetinay blunder

Phillip Schofield had his head in hands today after making an embarrassing blunder.

The veteran This Morning host burst out laughing when realising he had made an awkward gaffe involving Kem Cetinay.

Introducing what was coming up in the show, Phil said: "Kem is adventuring into the unknown as he continues his fairytale adventure around New York."

But This Morning viewers were confused as the clip showed Kem in the snow being pulled by some huskies on a sledge.

Realising he had made a bit of a blunder, Phil pointed out: "No he doesn't. He's going to Norway."

Stunned Holly asked: "Did you say New York? I've never seen a fjord down there."

The presenter got the giggles and collapsed onto the desk with his head in his hands.

Explaining himself, Phillip said: "I don't know what happened then. That did not look like New York to me."

But that wasn't the end of the matter as there was pressure on Phillip to get it right a second time.

When he was going back round through the list, Holly jokingly asked where Kem was going.

Kem had the time of his life in Norway, but was left red-faced when he was sent toppling off his sledge into the snow.

The Love Island winner told This Morning viewers not to mention that he ended up covered in snow.

This Morning viewers took to Twitter after watching Kem's segment in Norway.

One viewer said: "Dear Norway, we are so sorry for sending Kem to you."

Another added: "Loved that segment on Norway...bucket list!"
