Phillip Schofield freaks out Holly Willoughby with 'haunted' doll on This Morning

Holly Willoughby was begging for Phil to stop teasing her on This Morning after he introduced her to a 'haunted' doll said to be 'rabid with spirits and ghosts.'

The infamous This Morning duo were just about to launch into a segment with a couple from Oregon who rehome creepy and 'haunted' dolls when Phil reached behind the couch to pull out one of his own.

Holly asked what he was doing and was instantly wide eyed as Phil said: "This is Holly.

"No it's not.", replied Holly in a serious tone, to which Phil said: "Well, I'm calling it Holly!"

Phil explained the story behind Holly, saying: "This has been a part of this building for many years, it is allegedly absolutely rabid with spirits and ghosts."

Holly Willoughby is stunned to hear about the story of Holly the haunted doll and wonders why Phil has bought it into the studio to give to her as a present (This Morning | ITV)

"And you thought you'd bring this why?", said a shocked Holly, with Phil adding, "I want to give her to you."

There was a short pause before Holly replied: "I don't want her... I definitely don't want her."

As Holly tried to introduce the couple from Oregon, Phil moved the doll between them, freaking Holly out.

She moved away from the doll as she said: "Can you... no! That's fine! I think me and Holly need to socially distance from one and other I think she's too close.

"Definitely needs to be a four metre rule there!"

Phil added: "Are you sure? Maybe the fact you could be with her, and you could spend some time with her might just exorcise those spirits a wee bit, make her feel a little bit better about herself."

Holly was having none of it, replying: "Fine, well, let us just sit her right there... let's see what happens.

"If that thing moves, I am going to hit the roof of this studio!"

Then, the gallery decided to play some creepy child noises into the studio, creeping Holly out even more.

"Oh no, stop it now. STOP IT! Stop it, please stop it!"

The duo finally then managed to begin their interview with the Oregon couple as Holly completely avoided eye contact with the doll as Phil chuckled.
