Phillip Schofield was forced to apologise after Martin Clunes' expletive ridden interview on This Morning.
Martin appeared on the ITV show to speak about the latest series of Manhunter which will focus on the real-life story of the police pursuit of notorious serial rapist Delroy Grant, whose 17-year reign of terror left thousands of elderly people in south east London living in fear.
Martin will reprise his role as real-life Metropolitan Police Senior Investigating Officer Colin Sutton in the ITV drama.

But as he described Grant's horrific crimes Martin used a series of swear words to describe him and what he had done.
The interview continued but Phil and Holly looked on nervously and eventually Phil was forced to jump in.
Phil said: "I haven't apologised for each of the bits of bad language, because obviously it would take up far too much time.
"So what I'm going to do is apologise for all three of them in one sort of big apology. "
Martin looked embarrassed and apologised for his language as he said: "Sorry."
But Phil said: "Please don't apologise....I just did."
And viewers were quick to comment on the incident on social media.
@shrimpsy291 said: "Oh shut up about language love Martin Clunes absolutely lovely gentle mannered man and great actor."
Traylor Holmes said: "Martin Clunes doing his best Miriam Margolyes."
Brad Jolly said: "Did # MartinClunes just casually throw in three swear words in that short interview on #ThisMorning?"
