Phillip Schofield 'explodes' at Gino for interrupting cooking of 'famous' ribs on This Morning

Phillip Schofield told Gino D'Acampo to "sit down and be quiet" after the cheeky chef interrupted his cooking segment today on This Morning.

The 57-year-old was clearly excited about showing off his chefing prowess, having mentioned his 'famous ribs' numerous times during yesterday's programme.

And it finally came time for Phil's moment in the cooking spotlight - only for Italian stallion Gino to try and steal the limelight.

After rubbing his spice mix over the ribs, Phil began to make his sauce but clocked Gino walking behind him in the outdoor patio area.

"Oh my god, Gino, you made me jump!" Holly exclaimed, hand to her chest.

But Phil threw an arm in front of himself as he said: "Gino, I'm against the clock so you can sit there but be quiet!"

Gino looked baffled as Phil continued: "I'm in the kitchen and I'm stressed! Sit down and be quiet!"

Holly gave an awkward look at the camera before guiding Gino over to the sofa.

"Walking through my garden!" Phil said, aghast.

Phil continued with making his sauce and Gino stood up again, suggesting that Phil should be "more precise" with his measurements.

However Holly interjected and got him to help with the billowing fire, with Gino blocking the hosts from the smoke.

Phil then got out the ribs he'd made earlier, saying: "Oh hang on a second, it's three hours later!"

"You say 'These are the ones we made earlier," Gino remarked. "That's the way we do it on TV."

"Yeah but I do it in a slightly different way, Gino, because everyone says that," Phil replied.

"So now you want to be a cook as well," Gino continued. "A presenter, a cook..."

Holly and Phil ignored Gino as they continued with the meal, with Holly preparing a whiskey sour.

But Gino asked: "Can I ask what possessed you to cook here now, on television?"

Holly retorted: "What possessed you to writing books?"

Gino grinned as he struggled to answer, with Phil remarking: "There's a huge gap in the market cos the bloke I used to watch is in Sardinia breeding horses!"

The chef replied: "So you couldn't get anyone else?!"
