A viral video showing a teen harassing Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty on the street has left This Morning's Phillip Schofield furious.
The veteran TV presenter held nothing back as he condemned the actions of the 'idiot' who cornered Chris Whitty, branding him a 'liar' as the CMO waited to get food from a street vendor in London.
Starring alongside his regular co-host Holly Willoughby, Phil was keen to show guests Nick Ferrari and Nicola Thorp the shocking clip, which can also be seen in the video above.
During the sequence, Chris Whitty is seen standing on a social distancing line as he puts on his mask, before a voice yells at him: "Hey, big man! You're a liar!"
The Chief Medical Officer, who has been vaccinating the most vulnerable groups in his spare time, ignored the teen, but continued to have abuse hurled at him:
"You're a liar!", said the troll, who added: "Mandem is a liar!", as they joined the shot.
"You're a liar! You lie about the Covid-19 cases, man, come on, stop lying to the TV man... LIARRRR!", said the host of the video which is said to have gone viral on TikTok.
As the video ended, a furious Phil said instantaneously: "It's a shame we've blurred his face because he should be on a billboard and it should just be 'Idiot'!"
Nick added: "This is a bloke who has given up his spare time to give out the vaccinations, he's slaved away for 10 months with his colleagues.
"The reason many of us are sitting here right now and our relatives are alive is because of the work this man has done!"
Nicola thought Phil's claims were a bit strong to have the teen troll plastered on billboards, believing problems in the lives of people who troll, have deep-seated problems in their own life but agreed that trolling has almost "become a sport" in the UK.
Holly later pointed out another worrying aspect that the teen who filmed the footage was extremely close to the Chief Medical Officer, without a mask on.
This Morning viewers were all with Phil, condemning the video.
