Phillip Schofield blames Holly Willoughby as they're forced to 'restart' This Morning seconds in

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were forced to 'restart' This Morning, with Phil blaming Holly for the blunder.

The hosting duo are no strangers to collapsing into giggles or misreading their scripts on the ITV show.

But the latest error happened just seconds into today's show.

As the show's iconic theme tune and titles rolled, viewers were waiting to see Holly and Phil in the studio.

However, the presenters weren't quite ready for the show to begin.

Phil, 59, opened the show by asking Holly to repeat what she said just before they went live.

"Slightly worrying sitting by the side of you when you say something like that," he said prompting Holly to laugh.

As she began to explain herself, Phil added: "You said four seconds ago, 'That music means I've got to do something.'

Holly, 40, admitted: "I know. I suddenly, just for a moment there thought, 'What are we doing right at the top, I can't quite remember.'"

She added: "So I'm all over it. It's fine. I was just testing you.

"I know exactly what's happening," she added before Phil said smiling: "There's nothing to worry about, or find, here."

But as Phil tried to tell viewers what was coming up on the show, he got his words in a muddle and the pair collapsed into laughter.

Turning to Holly, Phil said: "This is your fault."

Holly replied: "We’re derailing ourselves at 9.59am," before adding: "It's not even 10 o'clock, we’re not even meant to be on air yet!"

"It's because we came on early," Phil quipped before the title music rolled again so the pair could re-do their introduction.

"Good morning," the pair cheerfully announced as they danced around in their seats.
