Phillip Schofield bids goodbye to This Morning sex doll that 'replaced' Holly Willoughby

This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield bid an amusing farewell to the sex doll who 'replaced' Holly Willoughby on the show.

During Tuesday morning's show, businesswoman Jade Stanley had sent sex doll Bella to the studio as her business boomed in lockdown.

Sat between Phillip and Holly, the pair couldn't help but giggle at the guest on the sofa.

"Have you replaced me already?" Holly asked. "You've upgraded me for a better model!"

However, the jokes did not stop when Bella left our screens as Phil said his own personal goodbye to her, which he shared on his Instagram Stories.

Phil could be heard saying: "Bye Bella, thanks Bella, thanks for coming in, see ya, have a lovely day, have a lovely day."

However, as the crew carried Bella away with their Personal Protective Equipment on, Bella's shoes came off as she went around the corner with those carrying her.

A droll Phillip noted: "Her shoes have fallen off...round she goes. Thanks, Bella."

A laughing Phillip then joked: "That's how we treat all our guests, just carry them out after the interview!"

The cheeky moment came after Holly revealed to sex doll entrepreneur Jade that she wasn't so sold on the idea of having a sex doll in the house.

"When it comes to the companionship thing," Holly said. "I think I would feel more lonely if I had that than if I was alone!"

However, this may have been due to Holly's tongue-in-cheek joke of feeling replaced by Bella.

When the interview ended, Holly said: "We will send Bella back, immediately!

She also revealed: "A member of the studio, I won't say who, saw it sitting on the sofa and asked if it was me!"

Thankfully, Jade doesn't have to worry about a lack of fans for Bella as sales are on the up in lockdown.

"In lockdown we have seen a surge because of isolation issues surrounding people," revealed Jade. "This is very much a companion."

This Morning continues on weekday mornings at 10am on ITV and is available on catch-up on ITV Player.
