Phillip Schofield attempts to move on from Amanda Holden drama

Phillip Schofield complained of his "sad weekend" after getting caught up in a feud with Amanda Holden , but now it seems he's trying to move on from all the drama.

The TV host, 57, took to Snapchat last night to share a photo of his evening snack, without any mention of the spat.

Alongside an image of delicious looking berries, Phil wrote: "I'm really looking forward to pulling the seeds out of my teeth for the rest of the night."

Last week more details of Phil and Amanda's falling out emerged, as it was alleged he stopped her from getting a presenting job on This Morning while Holly Willoughby was away hosting I'm A Celebrity back in November.

After Amanda made a dig at Phil on her Heart radio show, Phil broke his silence with a tweet denying the allegations.

He posted: "The end of another really sad weekend. When you try for 35 years to be the easiest, most fun person to work with and you read such hurtful and wildly untrue stories from nameless ‘sources’.

"Obviously I’ll take it on the chin.. I just hope you know me better."

He hasn't commented since but last night he liked a tweet from Dancing on Ice professional skater Matt Evers, who defended him.

Matt said: "12 series... that 12 years on and off screen. Either on the ice or This Morning and never... not once have I seen nor heard a bad thing from you.

"Your spirit and professionalism has always been at the highest level."

Matt joined a host of celebs who defended Phil , including James Jordan and perfumer Jo Malone.

Rumours of a rift between Amanda and Phil began when it was claimed he'd stopped her from hosting This Morning .

Amanda reportedly took her concerns to ITV boss Kevin Lygo, with a former daytime TV executive revealing that "Phillip actively campaigned for Rochelle Humes to get the job despite Amanda being more experienced".

This was despite it being alleged that Amanda had been told in private that "she'd got the gig".

Yesterday a This Morning presenter called for Amanda to be sacked from ITV altogether after branding her difficult to work with.
