This Morning's Phillip Schofield appeared to take a dig at Good Morning Britain co-host Piers Morgan after an interview with Michael Gove took a bizarre turn.
Piers put questions to Gove that included a grilling over government policy for nuclear weapons now that Prime Minister Boris Johnson is in intensive care as he battles coronavirus.
Phillip seemed to bring this up again during this morning, giving a short speech of his own and urging to keep "level heads" during the pandemic.
"As we sail through these troubled waters," he said, "Everybody wants to know everything straight away.
"Who's in charge? What happens now? What happens if there's a nuclear war? Who presses the button?

"We have got to be very careful here that we take each step at a time, and that we approach this with level heads."
Piers has been defending his interview on Twitter, writing: "Some people didn't think it 'appropriate' for me to clarify exactly who is now running the country (incl. authority to deploy UK's nuclear defence) given our Prime Minister in in intensive care.

"Frankly, I can't think of anything more important to know."
The controversial host has been outspoken about coronavirus from the start, regularly using his platform to pour scorn on those who fail to take precautions and stay home during the pandemic.

"How big a sacrifice do you think you're making for your country?" he raged, "You're not having to fight anybody.
"You're not having to risk your life being gunned down in trenches. You're being asked to go home, sit there and watch telly.
"What is wrong with people?"
Another show saw him insist: "Just stay near your home. This is all you have to do. This is our contribution to the war effort. People can't get it in their thick skulls."
