Phillip Schofied pauses This Morning to tell off producer for having a little break

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were back at work again today, continuing to keep us entertained during the current lockdown.

But a This Morning producer got a little bit more than bargained for when they accidentally got on the wrong side of Phil.

The presenter ended up briefly pausing the show when he could hear someone crunching in his ear during the live on the show. And it was clearly very distracting.

"Who was eating what upstairs," he quizzed during the ITV programme as he was just about to start his next link.

"Who is eating what?" he asked again before Holly chipped in to tell viewers that someone was "having a munch" in their ears.

Phil, 58, then asked again holding on to his ear: "What is it? It's a biscuit?"

Co-host Holly burst out laughing but Schofe wasn't finished, explaining to whoever was having a cheeky tea break: "I want you to imagine someone sitting right next to you in a cinema, opening a bag of something right next door to your ear," he said.

He then added: "We can't get offered them, we can't eat them" before Holly added: "No sharing." But Phil wanted to have the last word and sarcastically told them: "Well I hope you enjoy!" to a little giggle from the rest of the skeleton crew they are working with.

We all need to have a brew and a biscuit break, Phillip.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.
