The New England Patriots continue to struggle with their depth at wide receiver.
Phillip Dorsett left New England’s Week 5 matchup against the Washington Redskins with a hamstring injury.
Dorsett became Tom Brady’s third option at receiver after recording 15 catches for 197 yards and three touchdowns this season. The Patriots are currently sitting with Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon, Dorsett, Jakobi Meyers, and Gunner Olszewski at receiver.
The Patriots also have rookie N’Keal Harry that could return later in the season, but they may need to search externally for another receiver.
