Phillies’ fans chant ‘Fire Howie’ at Eagles’ GM

The memories have faded in Philadelphia. That Super Bowl victory happened in February of 2018. Three years and a couple of months later, the fans in the City of Brotherly Love are restless … and that would be an understatement.

Eagles’ GM Howie Roseman decided to attend the San Francisco Giants-Philadelphia Phillies’ game Monday at Citizens Bank Park.

And it didn’t go well. The fans realized Roseman was in attendance and went off as only Philadelphians can do.

They broke into a “Fire Howie!” chant.

After a series of ‘E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!’ chants broke out at Citizens Bank Park broke out (please stop doing this, the Birds aren’t something to take pride in like that right now!), so did chants aimed at the team’s GM:

Has to be some of that pent-up pandemic frustration as the Eagles’ faithful were not able to get it and let it out at the team during the 2020 season.
