Phillies fans booed Bruce Willis after his first pitch didn’t go as hoped

Legendary actor Bruce Willis spent a day with the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday, first taking batting practice with the team and then throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before their game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Willis, who has filmed a few of his movies in Philadelphia and grew up near the city in southern New Jersey, probably knows that Philly fans can be a little tough on you if you make a mistake.

So this reaction to his first pitch must have hurt a bit. But he probably knew it was coming.

Yup, he got booed after his pitched bounced in to the catcher:

I mean, it wasn’t THAT bad of a throw, especially for a 64-year-old actor.

But the Philly fans crushed him anyways:
