Philippines reports 2,006 new coronavirus cases, 38 more deaths

The Philippines' health ministry on Friday reported 2,006 new confirmed coronavirus infections and 38 additional deaths.

Its latest update brought total cases to 378,933 and deaths from COVID-19 to 7,185. It also said the total number of people who had recovered had increased to 330,457.
