Philippines confirms 2,415 novel coronavirus cases, 59 more deaths

The Philippines' health ministry on Thursday recorded 2,415 new coronavirus infections and 59 additional deaths.

In a bulletin, the ministry said total confirmed cases had increased to 314,079, the most in Southeast Asia, while deaths had reached 5,562.
