Philippe Coutinho set for Liverpool reunion - this is how Barcelona will line up

Liverpool can expect a Philippe Coutinho reunion with their former player set for a starting role for Barcelona on Wednesday.

Coutinho, who moved from Anfield for £142million in January 2018, has experienced a difficult first full season with the Spanish giants.

However, Catalan media believe the Brazil international will be chosen ahead of Ousmane Dembele for the Champions League semi-final first leg against Jurgen Klopp's side.

Coutinho has started last three knockout games and scored in the home wins over Lyon and Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp admits Liverpool have done far better without Philippe Coutinho than he imagined

Another ex-Red, Luis Suarez, will spearhead the attacking triumvirate completed by Lionel Messi.

With Clement Lenglet having moved ahead of Samuel Umtiti in the pecking order to partner Gerard Pique at centre-back, Barcelona's only other real selection concern has been at right-back.

Philippe Coutinho 'made right decision' leaving Liverpool for Barcelona says ex-Reds star

And it is anticipated the greater defensive ability of Sergi Roberto will see him selected ahead of Nelson Semedo.

BARCELONA (probable line-up): Ter Stegen; Roberto, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; Busquets, Arthur, Rakitic; Coutinho, Suarez, Messi.
