Speculation is rife surrounding the future of Philippe Coutinho after his miserable season at Barcelona .
The former Liverpool star was targeted by fans after his underwhelming performances towards the back end of the campaign.
He's being heavily tipped to depart the Nou Camp this summer with rumours he could make a Premier League return.
Coutinho again found himself at the centre of jeers from unhappy supporters in the first half of Brazil's Copa America opener against Bolivia.
But he bagged twice in the second half as the hosts ran out 3-0 winners - and he insisted being jeered is simply part of the game.
"Being jeered by the crowd is part of football," he said.
"The Brazil fans ask a lot of us because they want us to play well.
"The important thing is to be strong so that we can play better, which is what we did after scoring the first goal."
Asked if he had a message for Barcelona fans, he added: "I do not have much to say to them; I am grateful for all the support that I have always received.
"I had a tough time on the field because I have not performed as expected, but football is like that and I'm working hard to improve."
Coutinho has been heavily tipped to make a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain, although Manchester United are also keeping tabs on his situation.
A move to the French capital would see him link up with Brazil team-mates Neymar, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos after what he has admitted was a below-par campaign.
