Philippe Coutinho's four transfer options after missing out on Premier League return

Philippe Coutinho could still secure a move away from Barcelona this summer.

The Brazilian was touted to Premier League clubs with Barcelona ready to let him go after just 18 months at the Nou Camp.

Manchester United , Arsenal and former club Liverpool were all tipped to make a move for Coutinho while Tottenham emerged as a potential destination at the end of the window.

A loan move to north London failed to materialise on deadline day and Coutinho looks set to start the season with Barcelona.

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde insisted earlier this week that he is ready to count on Coutinho if he remains with the club.

But reports in Spain suggest a move could yet be on the cards with the transfer window open across Europe until September 2.

Mundo Deportivo reports Coutinho could be used by Barca in a late attempt to secure Neymar's return to the Nou Camp.

The Brazilian is believed to be open to making the move to Paris if the two clubs can strike an agreement.

A move to Italy could yet go through with Juventus and Inter mooted as possible destinations for Coutinho.

The 27-year-old broke through at Inter before joining Liverpool in 2013 and it remains to be seen if he would be open to returning to the San Siro.

Bayern Munich are tipped as the only other club who could afford Coutinho and they may revisit the situation after missing out on Leroy Sane.
