Here is your Arsenal digest for Wednesday, August 26.
Coutinho reacts after Ronald Koeman decision
Philippe Coutinho has reflected on winning the Champions League following the news that Ronald Koeman may be open to keeping him at Barcelona.
The Brazilian's time at the Nou Camp appeared to be all but over after he was sent on loan to Bayern Munich at the start of last season, going on to claim the Champions League with his temporary employers this month.
Coutinho had been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal but Koeman is said to be open to keeping the attacker at the Nou Camp.
That stance could be further strengthened by the news that Lionel Messi is keen to leave Barcelona.
Coutinho, though, could not hide his delight at the Champions League win.
Magalhaes transfer prompts Arteta's toughest decision
Arsenal are closing in on a deal to bring Gabriel Magalhaes to the Emirates in a £25m move from Lille.
Whilst the transfer will undoubtedly be good news for the Gunners, it prompts some difficult decisions for Mikel Arteta.
As it stands, even without Magalhaes, there are seven centre-backs in the first-team picture at the Emirates.
So, with the aim of using a 4-3-3 formation at the Gunners next season, how will Arteta fit all of his defenders in?
We have taken a look, with William Saliba's impressive display against MK Dons adding more food for thought.
