Philippe Coutinho makes his feelings for Liverpool very clear while in Barcelona

Philippe Coutinho left Liverpool with a bad taste in the mouth when he pushed through a transfer to Barcelona in 2018.

The Brazilian was the club's best player at the time, and Jurgen Klopp and co. were doing everything in their power to keep him at Anfield.

But after handing in a transfer request via email - after initially being denied an exit in the summer window - Coutinho was eventually allowed to leave Liverpool in January.

Since his departure Coutinho, 28, has experienced some highs and lows at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich as his relationship with Liverpool has grown increasingly distance.

But it seems the Brazilian still has a soft spot for the Reds, as one observant fan pointed out in a Tik Tok video of Coutinho.

The clip shows the Brazilian driving through the streets of Barcelona in his Mercedes that sports the personalised numberplate 'LFC'.

As aforementioned, Coutinho has had no association with Liverpool since 2018, but yet his car still pays tribute to the Anfield club.

Coutinho was linked with a move back to the Premier League in the summer, just before Bayern Munich won the Champions League.

And his agent, talking on Coutinho's behalf, admitted he loved his time at Liverpool.

"He has a desire to come back to the Premier League at some point," Kia Joorabchian told Sky Sports. "It may not happen this year, it may happen this year - we don't know.

"We really have not discussed anything for now.

"We're still waiting until the season finishes before we start talking about anything in terms of transfers. I've always said he loved to play in the Premier League, he enjoyed his time at Liverpool very much.

"If the opportunity arises to come back to the Premier League, whether it be this year or in the future, he’s definitely looking at that."
