Philippe Coutinho in limbo as Barcelona have not received single offer for unsettled star

Philippe Coutinho faces being left in limbo after it emerged Barcelona have yet to receive a single offer for the attacking midfielder.

Coutinho has endured a miserable time at the Nou Camp since his move from Liverpool 18 months ago.

He has been linked with a move back to Anfield, as well as to PSG and Manchester United .

However, Mundo Deportivo claim no club have followed up their interest with a concrete offer.

Coutinho still has four years remaining on his contract but his prospects at Barcelona are looking increasingly bleak.

The Brazilian has failed to replicate the form that he showed at Anfield before his stunning £142million switch to Spain.

He became a cult hero at Liverpool, scoring 54 goals during his five years on Merseyside.

United had shown an interest in signing the 27-year-old, but it is claimed the player would not consider a move to Old Trafford out of respect for his former club.

Paris Saint-Germain are also keen and there's been talk Coutinho could be used as a possible makeweight in a deal that would see Neymar head in the opposite direction.
