The European league calendar is reaching its final stages and major things are happening up and down the table. Whether its league titles or relegation places, the planning has begun already for some of the mega deals that will shake the foundations of football this summer.
And so, without further ado here are the latest transfer rumours for April 9.
We begin in Paris, the home of fashion, fine food, and Timothy Weah. The American forward is currently on loan at Celtic, and his performances have not gone unnoticed. According to The Scottish Sun he is being tracked by Eddie Howe of Bournemouth.
Given the player sits behind Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at the Parc Des Princes he may be open to a move to the south coast club, with the Cherries eager to take him on a permanent basis from PSG.
One man who could be returning to the Premier League is Edwin van der Sar. The former Manchester United and Fulham goalkeeper is working in the front office of Ajax Amsterdam, but has not ruled out one day taking a similar role at Old Trafford.
He has been linked with the Director of Football role, a somewhat different one to that which he holds in Amsterdam, and he has refused to rule out a change in the near future according to the Sunday Times.
The same cannot be said for Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League after a difficult spell at Barcelona. Talk is the club are eager to cash in on the former Liverpool favourite, although the man himself has ruled it out according to goal.com.
While any deal for the Brazilian would cost a monumental sum of money, the same is not true of Dedryck Boyata. The Belgian joined Celtic from Manchester City in 2015 and has enjoyed a successful time in Glasgow. His contract expires in the summer, however, Football Insider is reporting that the defender will join Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin in the summer.
Borussia Dortmund have their minds firmly focused on the Bundesliga race, but that hasn’t stopped one of their young players from drawing Premier League interest. Alexander Isak, signed from AIK, is a target for the Blues and Real Madrid according to the Sunday Mirror. He has found form on loan at Willem II this season, and the German side could attempt to cash in on that form.
Barcelona and Liverpool have been in France’s capital to scout a player, but it’s not someone that plays for PSG. Paris FC attacker Silas Wamangituka has been drawing the interest from Barca and Liverpool according to head coach Stephane Gilli, according to goal.com

We want him to stay, but there is always that financial aspect, and he is a player who has a massive potential.”
And finally, Real Madrid are set for a huge summer overhaul, but they’ve already turned down the chance to sign a World Cup winner. PSG’s Julian Draxler is available for £40 million, according to the Express, a lthough it has not been enough to tempt Zinedine Zidane.
