Philippe Coutinho, Gabriel Magalhaes and the five transfers Arsenal are tipped to complete

Arsenal’s recent FA Cup triumph will have given the club some much-needed extra money to spend in this summer’s transfer window.

Despite lifting the FA Cup for a record 14th time, the Gunners are well aware that there is much more work to be done.

Mikel Arteta took over the side following Unai Emery’s sacking in December, and this will be the first proper chance for the Spaniard to make the squad his own.

A host of players have been linked with a move to the Gunners, and we have taken a look at the latest odds from SkyBet for the players that are supposedly likely to move to the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta on summer plans and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Philippe Coutinho - 1/3

Coutinho is exactly the sort of world-class talent that Arsenal supporters would love to see join the club this summer.

The Barcelona midfielder established himself as one of the most talented attacking players in European football when he played for Liverpool.

However, since moving to Barca, things haven’t quite gone to plan and the Catalan giants are reportedly looking to offload him this summer.

Jack Grealish - 5/2

The Aston Villa attacker starred in the side’s unbelievable effort to beat the drop last season and has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs.

As well as Arsenal, Grealish has been linked with Manchester United, as he looks to make a step up from his boyhood team.

The 24-year-old is still contracted at Villa Park until 2023, so Dean Smith’s side are in a strong position, financially at least.

Abdoulaye Doucoure - 3/1

Doucoure was an ever-present figure in Watford’s 2019/20 season, that ended in relegation, but on a personal note, it was another impressive campaign for the French midfielder.

In the last three seasons especially, Doucoure has established himself as a goalscoring midfielder - netting 16 times for the Hornets in that period.

Like Grealish, the 27-year-old still has another three years remaining on his deal, but following Watford’s drop to the Championship, Doucoure could be available for slightly cheaper.

Dayot Upamecano - 2/1

The French defender is one of the most sought-after centre-backs in Europe at the moment after a fantastic season with RB Leipzig.

Upamecano featured 28 times for Leipzig in the Bundesliga and has been linked with a move to Arsenal in the process.

It’s no secret that the Gunners are chasing a central defender after more woes last season, and if they could land Upamecano, it would be a real coup for Arteta.

Gabriel Magalhaes - 1/3

Magalhaes is another central defender reportedly being looked at by Arsenal, and he’s even shorter odds than Upamecano.

The Brazilian defender enjoyed a brilliant season for Lille in Ligue 1 and has established himself as one of Europe’s finest talents.

The 22-year-old has also been linked with moves to Everton and Manchester United, but SkyBet have the Gunners as big favourites to secure his signature.

Thomas Partey - 8/11

The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been linked with a move to Arsenal for a while now after months of contract talks with his parent club.

Partey’s strong performances for Diego Simeone's side last campaign has reportedly attracted the interest of Arteta’s side.

The Ghanaian defensive midfielder was particularly impressive in Atletico's Champions League win over last season’s champions, Liverpool, earlier in the year.

Wilfried Zaha - 3/1

Zaha is somewhat of a long-term target for Arsenal, and SkyBet have him at 3/1 to team up with Arteta before the new season begins.

The Ivorian is getting into the so-called 'prime' years of his career, now 27-years-old, and may look to move on from Crystal Palace to further his chances of success.

The former Manchester United winger still has just under three years remaining of his deal at Selhurst Park, but if a big money offer comes in for him, Palace may find it difficult to refuse.
