Ahead of tonight's clash against their former team, Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez have sent a message to Liverpool.
Suarez left the Reds for Barcelona in the summer of 2014 and Coutinho followed, leaving Liverpool in January 2018.
Since their departures, both the Uruguayan and the Brazilian have spoken fondly of their time at Anfield .
But with a place in the Champions League final at stake, Coutinho and Suarez have switched tactics, saying they are confident of success at Camp Nou this evening.
Speaking about the upcoming match, Suarez told FC Barcelona : "This team has too much experience to fall into that trap.
"We have to know what kind of game we are in and that if we want to get to the final and achieve our objectives then we cannot be distracted for a single minute in either of the two games."
Coutinho said: "We are all focused in all matches and the Champions League is a great objective for the group and we are strong mentally.
And the Brazilian warned: "They are a great team they are very strong mentally and I have been watching them all season."

Jurgen Klopp's side are hoping for an away victory tonight aiming to get one step closer to the final in Madrid.
The two teams will meet again in the second leg at Anfield next week where the Reds fate will be decided.
