Phillip Schofield has been hit by viewers' criticism over an allegedly "insensitive" interview with grieving parents whose son went missing almost 30 years ago,
The presenter welcomed Charles and Doris Clark onto the ITV show, who were accused of murdering their son Steven years after he went missing in 1992, BirminghamLive reports.
Steven vanished in 1992, aged 23, shortly after meeting a new girlfriend.
His parents were interviewed on the show ahead of the release of the new ITV documentary 'Accused of Murdering Our Son - The Steven Clark Story.'
But many have criticised the presenter over his perceived "unprofessional" and "uncomfortable" tone during his line of questioning.

One had a sweary rant and said: "Have a bit of f**king sympathy Phil for f**k sake."
"Philip has been an embarrassment during this interview," a second added.
"I feel uncomfortable the way those poor parents were being interviewed. Self entitled Phillip," agreed another.
Others branded Schofield "crass" and "stupid" at other points during the interview.
Schofe interviewed the pair alongside Rochelle Humes, who stepped in to host the show in the absence of Holly Willoughby.
Holly is taking a week off This Morning as she is working on an exciting new project for ITV1.
This Morning continues to air each and every weekday at 10am on ITV1 with episodes also available to catch up with via the ITV Hub, streaming platform and on demand service, after they air.
