Philadelphia Eagles waive WR Hakeem Butler

As the Eagles headed off to Florence, New Jersey for joint practices with the Jets on Tuesday and Wednesday, they made another roster move, waiving wide receiver Hakeem Butler.

The former Iowas State star has played wide receiver and tight end while with Philadelphia and he’ll be most remembered for being unable to haul in a goalline fade with the game on the line despite hovering over the opposing cornerback.

The Eagles have one more roster move to make in order to get to the 80-player limit (81 for the Eagles with the international exemption for defensive end Matt Leo).
