Philadelphia Eagles set to interview Duce Staley for head coaching job

After some early speculation, it appears Duce Staley will indeed get his shot at interviewing for the Eagles’ head coaching job, per Howard Eskins of 94WIP.

Owner and chairman Jeffrey Lurie confirmed that Staley would be a candidate during his press conference on Monday.

Staley would definitely be a popular hire, while also maintaining some standard of the Eagles’ longstanding blue-collar approach to the game.

The Eagles running backs coach and top assistant, Staley led the team for a week when Doug Pederson was out with COVID-19.
