Philadelphia Eagles named the best landing spot for free agent RB Devonta Freeman

The Philadephia Eagles appear content with the committee of running backs currently on the roster but there’s one free agent ball-carrier that would fit right into the system.

Devonta Freeman is looking to find a team quickly after hiring agent Drew Rosenhaus and Bleacher Report believes the Eagles would be the perfect landing spot for the talented rusher.

“We only have three (running backs) on the roster right now,” he said. “And in the past few years, we’ve never kept less than five.”

The Eagles currently have six running backs on their roster, including two undrafted free agents — Adrian Killins Jr. and Mike Warren — who could have trouble making the team due to roster restrictions surrounding the coronavirus. The Birds also have a healthy Corey Clement and Elijah Holyfield on the roster.
