Philadelphia Eagles land OL Deonte Brown in Draft Wire’s way-too-early 2021 mock draft

The 2020 NFL Draft came and went with the Philadelphia Eagles reaching their goal of adding speed to the roster.

The Birds came away with a few athletic weapons and as the team looks towards the 2020 NFL season, Draft Wire took a look ahead to a way early 20201 mock draft.

Philadelphia is projected to be a playoff team and with their late first-round pick, Howie Roseman shores up the offensive line again, snagging massive Alabama Crimson Tide guard, Deonte Brown.

Brown missed the first four games of the 2019 season due to suspension, but after returning, the massive (6-4, 338 pounds) interior lineman settled in at right guard and helped the Tide’s offensive line finish the season ranked third nationally, allowing just .92 sacks per game while opening holes for an Alabama offense that ranked No. 2 nationally in scoring (47.2 ppg), third in passing (342.2 ypg) and sixth in total offense (510.8 ypg)

Brandon Brooks and Lane Johnson just signed a huge long-term extension, but the Eagles will still need depth at center where Jason Kelce could decide to retire.
