It was getting hot in the This Morning kitchen as Phil Vickery suffered a live cooking blunder.
The TV chef was back on the ITV programme to serve up homemade peri-peri chicken and rice for hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
It comes amid popular restaurant Nando's having to close multiple branches across the UK due to disruption within its UK supply chain.

So Phil was on hand to teach viewers how to make their own version of the Afro-Portuguese inspired dishes they'd be missing if their local restaurant was closed.
Things got off to a good start, with Phil marinading chicken, as Eamonn and Ruth were already able to tuck in to their own dishes in front of them.
But it all turned chaotic when he explained how he had cooked the big pot of rice.
As he removed the lid using a tea towel, he placed the lid on the hob with the tea towel remaining on top on top.
The cloth ended up catching fire with Phil commenting once he realised and quickly removed it: "Got a bit of a...."

Ruth interjected, commenting: "Ooohhh hello, fire situation!"
"Don't worry about that, nothing to see there," Phil tried to cover before Ruth said: "Oooooh tea towel on fire, nothing to see here!"
"Have you stamped on it?" she asked as Phil reassured her: "It's out don't worry."
He then carried on as if nothing happened.
But it still freaked viewers out with one tweeting: "OMG please turn the hob off!! Not a good example on kitchen safety ... tea towel about to set alight!!! @thismorning @EamonnHolmes @philvickerytv @ITV #healthandsafety #fire #tvnightmare."

Another recalled: "Phil almost had a moment like John Torode with the tea towel incident #thismorning."
That's because it's not the first time things have got hot in the kitchen.
During lockdown last year, the MasterChef judge joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield via video link from his home to show them how to make a sausage and egg muffin for those missing McDonald's while they were closed.
But as he chatted away, he didn't notice was that a tea towel had caught fire behind him after he left it on his oven.
